I booked a room for 4 nights. The room was super small . The stuff was really nice though. We were not allow to go on the rooftop. I wish I knew that before I booked the room..
The rooms were tiny and very very outdated. They felt dirty as well... We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights and had many miscommunications with the front desk. A woman and a man that 'helped' us at the front desk were very rude to us when we would ask questions. I did have a WONDERFUL woman help me this morning when I had questions though. I wish we would have been able to have her customer service the entire time as she was much more pleasant to work with. I soooo wish I would have gotten names... The hotel is beautiful. Art Deco. Great vibe. It was built in the 1940s so if you're looking for brand new this probably isn't your place. Room is great. The martini bar and restaurant were phenomenal. Love the pool. We have had great service. We will be back.
Great place. Right in the middle of everything, but yet a quiet getaway. Loved it.
Nothing nice about this. Maybe some confusion with guests if they have not ever statues at a nice hotel before then this is right up there with the motel 6. Disgusting. Filthy. Dark and dingy. Pool need cleaned. Pool was unenjoyable for Saturday afternoon with a DJ. We hope we don't get a skin infection from the water. There was a film all along the top edges of the pool. Needs repaired. It's unfortunate when your memories of prior stays are the best thing going for a place. These days service is spotty and could use an eye for training and standards, particularly at the front desk and outdoor dining areas. The ambience lacks as well due to lack of monitoring of unruly behavior on the part of some guests (particularly poolside).
