We had a wonderful experience at the Pump house. We eat outside which overlooks the Guadeloupe river. The view was so nice, also the flowering bushes drew the butterflies. The food was good and the serve was excellent.
My family and I were traveling back home from the coast. We had spent several great days enjoying the beach and relaxing, but had left unsatisfied with our dining choices. When you're "greeted?"at the door by the manager with an attitude and totally rude it ruins the whole meal. I don't care if I ever go back.
My boyfriend and son took me Sunday 9/11/16 around for a birthday brunch around 12:00. DISAPPOINTED!!! Our waitress brought our drinks and took our order and that was it. 3 tables were seated AFTER us and they were all served their food and we still hadn't even checked on once by our waitress, or anyone else that walked by. We left after 45 minutes, never even got our food!! Excellent food! Great atmosphere! Fairly priced. I highly recommend this place!
By far the best restaurant we have been to since moving to Texas 4 years ago and to Victoria 3 months ago. The waitress was friendly and quick to refill our drinks, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere is amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!
Have been there twice in the past 3 weeks for lunch and both times it was delicious!

Just got home from the most horrible eating out experience in my 69 years. We had reservations at 6:45 and were seated promptly. It went downhill from there. It was over 2 1/2 hours before were served. During that time we only saw our waitress twice to refill drinks. When the food finally arrived, it was not good at all. My salmon and my sister's salmon were over cooked and very dry. It was smeared with a sweet jelly and was not good at all. The omlets hardly had anything in them. The drinks were too expensive. Bird shit everywhere. Had to exchange my seat and had a hard time finding a clean one. The only good thing is the ok atmosphere and your sweet workers. I won't be returning.
