My name is Adam and i went through the providence projects. The staff their we kind and loving and helped me greatly in my addiction recovery. I stayed in one of their houses and it was really nicely furnished, i was living with 4 other men and we had a great time bonding and supporting each other as we went through the program. most days we had a selection of groups including group therapies, 1 2 1 counselling sessions along with bigger gatherings where we would celebrate others successes. The staff are all individually amazing. The 12 step programme is great.. Love the infectious vibe. Especially Conrads sessions, he makes it so engaging. Darryl, very helpful. The place is amazing. I would suggest a couple of contract changes. Even procedural. Only due to the fact, I had to unfortunately self discharge, due to an unrelated medical condition left my staying any further, completely untenable. Be prepared. Ask questions. The Provvie is OK but if you have any aversion to God or Higher Power then this isn’t the place for you. You will be told that there is no alternative and you will be made to feel “Obliged” to attend AA, NA etc and don’t be fooled by the “spiritual” spin. If you don’t believe then you don’t believe. But there are many secular options out there. I left there drunk and disappointed after 4 weeks. I found the path for me and I am proud to say that I am now 410 days sober. Clive

I attended both treatment and after-care treatment with the Providence Projects for a total of 4-5 months in 2014. This place saved my life. I had been to rehab treatment 3 times before this to no avail. Their approach worked perfectly for me at a time when I needed it most. I could not recommend more. I am 11 years sober now ever since the day I entered Providence, I will forever have the utmost gratitude for that place and the people that make the magic happen. Thank you, sincerely.

I'm not an addict, not sober, but I reached out to try and help a loved one. I was looking to book her into private rehab and was happy to pay but wanted to understand what she needed after lapsing from being 4 years sober. They put a lot of effort into the website about reaching out and how they can help loved ones. I must have caught them on a bad day. This is how that conversation went, with an admissions specialist. I real do hope the care is better than the initial service.
