The name says it and they delivered. We were very distraught about our daughter realizing she needed more help than we could possibly give her...nothing had worked! Had a life changing 7 day experience at the PROMIS Clinic (Kendrick Mews). The location is great (in quiet Mews) but still close to everything if you want to go out for walks, etc., all of the staff are highly experienced and extremely caring (and there are staff available 24/7) and the rooms and food are great. There is a real sense of family and caring in the whole approach and you learn so much from other people in the way they structure their group sessions. As someone else has written, they pay for your transport in then tell you that they you can not get refunded, leaving you very confused. I was very hungover when I went in and isolated so I had no one to give me advice really. I had compensation for the abuse I suffered as a child. I had no one to support me and the man urging me to go in was very pushy. It was withersdane hall then. I’m not a posh kid, as I said I’d won a case and finally had my payout. Never been to a psychiatric nor rehab center so focused on the wellbeing of the client over anything else. You can ever feel it from the staff. Yes, the food is great, rooms lovely and all. Buts thsts not why most of us in need are there. No treatment center I hsve been to not only has one to ones, but every day. And with some of the best therapists I have seen. Promis Kendwick Mews, has played an enormous part in my life the last 2 years, it is safe, caring and loving. All the staff; from the therapists, the nurses the household stuff have played as bigger part as each other in my attempts at recovery. They have been fantastic with my family also in difficult times.
