Set in a restored early 20th Century meatpacking warehouse, the restaurant carries on the North Carolina barbecue tradition by serving full-hog, pit-cooked pork, and other barbecue essentials. We ordered the Easter dinner. It was delicious and there was lots of food. Thank you to the staff for working so we could enjoy a wonderful meal. We will be back soon!
We ordered The Pit's Easter meal for our family lunch on Sunday. It was fantastic! The smoked ham was delicious, and the sides were plentiful and super tasty. We applaud the kind staff members who worked the holiday so our family could keep a part of our Easter tradition intact.
I did a Door Dash there and it was at my place in less than 30 minutes. I got the Trio with pulled pork, brisket, and fried chicken. The fried chicken and brisket were absolutely off the charts! The pulled pork was good, just wish I would have gotten chopped instead. I also ordered collards, which I dont normally. They were also outstanding! Go support this restaurant! Top notch southern food and bbq.
