Came to Jon with a running injury in my foot- possible stress fracture. In my consultation he was extremely thorough, providing me with strengthening exercises and a return to running plan. In my follow up appointment I went on the treadmill so he could assess my running form. This was extremely helpful as it pointed out some key areas of improvements. I arrived at The Physios basically 'broken' with unbearable pain in my neck, shoulder, arm and fingers. Straight away I was treated with care and understanding. Jon consulted with my GP to get me on the right pain pathway and asked a colleague, Sarah,to begin a short course of acupuncture as I was in too much pain for hands on therapy. Not only did advice and physiotherapy from Jon ameliorate the pain from my deteriorating hip joint, but just as importantly, Jon provided the guidance that it was time, the assurance that hip replacement surgery would be ok and the support afterwards to get me back to being fully functional. I'm now able to let Steve Borthwick know I'm once again available for selection.
