While the food was good, they were out ofalmost everything we ordered. It took 15 minutes to even get greeted at our table. Our reservation was at 7:30 on a Saturday. We wanted soup and with only three on the menu they only had one type left. Other tables received bread and we never did. Then when we wanted dessert both desserts we wanted were out. Poor planning on food availability, especially on a busy fall weekend with a festival.
My husband and I love to find local restaurants when we travel as opposed to chains. We googled restaurants near us with a view and found The Painted Fish. It was a little rainy so opted for indoors near a window looking up the ski mountain. The decor was true to its name with many brightly painted fish pictures and sculptures. I love eating here with my family! I love Chef Tom and all the good food he makes! The Krispy Kreme cheesecake is my favorite dessert and his beautiful wife Nancy makes that along with other delicious desserts they serve there! Service is wonderful and the food is amazing!!!🥪🥓🍔🍳🥩

Really great! Had the Salmon with hollandaise. The hollandaise was perfection and the dish underpriced, in my opinion. Lots of gluten free options. Thank you for That!
