We spent 3 months looking for quality full time residential care in south Lakeland/North Lancashire for dad. Our prerequisites were for a small safe homely environment with attentive caring staff, high quality food, stimulating activities and access to a safe outside environment. Dad moved into the Old Vicarage early August 2024 where the staff made a fantastic effort to settle him to his new environment. My mum has been in the Old Vicarage for 5 years now and she has always been treated with the greatest care, kindness and respect. The staff were wonderful through the very trying lockdown and were always very willing to help when they could and kept me informed by phone if necessary. Mum is over 100 now, keep up the good work everyone, you’re obviously doing things right - thank you.
