Lovely home!
Disgusting 'carehome'. A family member has alzheimer's, the way she has been treated by staff, and almost killed by another resident is why i have left this review. PLEASE do not take your loved ones here as they will not be looked after. Bruises will magically appear, other residents will be allowed to roam in everyones rooms. Personal belongings go missing, stuff moved about whilst the carers are doing god knows what. The reason why my family member was attacked is because the carers aren't watching where the residents go.... read more
Visited yesterday for the first time. Set in a quiet suburb of South Birmingham. The premises has a large open car park with spaces for E V and Disabled users. The reception area was secure and spacious. I was greeted by two members of the reception staff who were friendly and only too willing to assist me with my equipment. My godmother moved in just 3 days ago. Every member of staff that I have encountered thus far, has been welcoming, caring, good natured and cannot do enough to help. In hospital, my godmother was confined to bed and lost the ability to walk. With the help of two carers, she managed to walk the few steps to her ensuite bathroom soon after arrival and in just 24 hours, she was out of bed, dressed and sitting up!
