I love the Mucky Duck! My mother is British, and every time she comes to town for a visit we always go there (and she buys lots of British goodies)...Marcus and Ann-Marie are both so welcoming, and all the employees are outstanding! Of course, the food is delicious as well!

Fantastic nosh! Swing in with the wife for Full English Breakfast as many Saturday mornings as possible. The opportunity to chat about life with the staff makes it even better. Definitely one of Ames' gems.

We found the Mucky Duck Pub By accident. It appeared to be an unassuming British pub with a patio. As we approached the front door we noticed the TARDIS (insert Dr. Who reference here) on the door. We were asked if we liked a particular beer or would like a sampler - the sampler it was. We ordered bangers and mash and the cornish pasty - nothing was left to bring home - yummm. The owner has a phd in app... read more

Great selection of beers (I'm a Hobgoblin fan, personally), relaxed atmosphere, friendly servers/bartenders, and great food--gotta love the pasties and the fish 'n chips. Also the only place in town I can ask for "spotted dick" and not get told to go home and sleep it off. Love this place!

Went to the Mucky Duck because of all the great food reviews and the bf family being from England we wanted to see the British Food Store too. The atmosphere was wonderful, a good family pub feel as you walk in. Music was classic rock with suits most palates, and was at an enjoyable level to sing with but not too loud you can't hear your conversation. Waitstaff was quick and friendly and answered any and all questions we had. The owner himself was super nice and friendly, and up for a chat. Food was amazing! Hot, fresh, grea... read more
