Mucky Duck has been one of my favorites in Ames ever since it opened. For the longest time, I didn't think I liked fish & chips but this place completely changed my mind. Amazing food and always friendly staff and great service. One thing I greatly appreciate is that my mother, who has a gluten intolerance, can eat the amazing fish & chips here since they offer gluten free batter, which tastes just as amazing as the regular batter. Staff is always helpful and cheerful. We always have fun when we are there.
Best place in town to have a great meal and drinks. Staff are superb!!! This is where I go to relax and enjoy how great this place is. Strongly recommend everyone to try. They have trivia night on Monday nights and looking forward to trying. They also have excellent tea you can buy and take home.
Good food...lights a little bright! Chicken and cheese pasty was delicious. Hubby had fish and chips...he liked that too. Will go back!
Consistently good food and service. I have tried and have enjoyed almost all the offerings on the menu. The staff is attentive and helpful.
We just moved a block away and thought we would give it a try! Well let us tell you, there bloodies are FANTASTIC! There food is different but great as well! Morning, noon or night though, those Bloody Mary's are something to look forward to... I recommend it to anyone wanting something out of there range, you will never be let down!�
