Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Stayed for a conference. Room was nice especially shower. Food was great and loved having Starbucks in Lobby.

I’ve stayed several times in this, my favorite hotel room in Madison, and enjoyed the largest room with Governors Club access. I was there to accept my award for Best Blues Song in Madison at The Madison Area Music Awards held in the Capitol Theater Sunday night. This time was just not as good as my previous visits. The front staff upon arriving were overwhelmed with business and were cranky and a little weird. One man even made an extremely weird personal comment to me that was not appreciated. It was very noisy, elevators were always packed and incredibly slow. room was very small, bed was not comfortable at all. for the price we paid for this room, we were disappointed. We don't plan to return.

We stayed on the 12th floor last night because we were seeing Jim Jefferies at the Overture Center. The hotel and our room were amazing, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and it was awesome having access to the governors club lounge. Staff was very helpful and attentive. My only complaint is that we got the Romantic package and it wasn’t really anything special, and our room was supposed to have robes, but it didn’t.
