A massive recommendation and thank you for to Ron McCulloch at the London Podiatry Centre. I was diagnosed with Morton's neuroma around eight years ago. I'd tried various options such as orthotics, physio, two steroid injections and various shoes but nothing provided long term relief. I had cryosurgery for Morton’s Neuroma in May last year. I am now pain-free and able to exercise etc. without pain.... however, the recovery did take a long time, and I went through a period (about 5 months after the cryosurgery) when I was convinced it hadn't worked as I was in immense pain :-( to the point where I was considering further surgery. I'm running pain free again! After years of a building stinging sensation in my toes I finally had it diagnosed as Mortons neuroma. Here in Australia the only option was surgical removal of the veins. Ron's cryosurgery was a much better alternative with a very quick recovery time and much smaller chance of side effects. I can highly recommend this option
I saw Pablo twice recently for a toe infection. He prescribed antibiotics and a week later it had improved but not sufficiently. He wanted to prescribe more anitbiotics and I was not happy with taking another dose as it gave me side effects. He then said I should go to my GP & seemed to lack any further interest.. Pablo's manner was off-hand and non-caring and for a cost of approximately £140 in total, I would expect more in terms of courtesy and a degree of interest as to how I could manage in the meantime.
