Horrible experience! I applied to Retreat at Riverbend in OKC and the office staff was terrible. I gave them my deposit in the beginning of August it took 3 weeks for them to tell me I have to come and fill out the background check. They knew 3 weeks prior they needed background check why didn't they have me do it right when I was there giving them my deposit. I'm am extremely displeased with this business and lakeside villas property which I was interested in a apt home at the time and the property never followed up with my application. When trying to reached the property mulipte times I received no answer. The week after I tried reaching out again and spoke with one of the leasing agents who I stated I was no longer interested in a apt and would like my deposit back in return agent replied I forfeit my deposit, because I was no longer interested. I am renting from their property (Independence Green) in Farmington Hills, Michigan. It took three weeks for property management to provide me with a functioning kitchen sink; four weeks for the new stainless steel appliances to arrive (which, I checked, four weeks isn't the lead time on the appliances provided). There is still mold growing in my bedroom closet that they have known about since the first week I moved in and have still not addressed it. Would absolutely NOT recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Columbia, SC@ Harbison Blvd. I would highly recommend all military families not stay there if going to Fort Jackson. We had two rooms booked there for my sons graduation from Fort Jackson, but he was injured at the last minute and they pushed his graduation. We had mere days to cancel and we did. Do not move here the management and the property owners JRK only care about MONEY! And if you leave they will file for a EVICTION. Please do your research.

Do NOT live here or in any of JRK properties. They are horrible! At first management at their Fall River, MA apartments (Royal Crest) was nice but went down hill fast. They kept raising rent but the quality of the place went downhill. The manager there is very rude. Every year the pool was never opened on time (always pushed back) and when they did finally open the pool it was dirty and green slim on the bottom of the pool. been in our apartment for 3 weeks. It is awful. my apartment was so dirty when I moved in. new countertops are not put in correctly, dishwasher fall open because it is not screwed in correctly, the garbage / recycling area is over flowing I consider this a safety and health issue. Pool has been closed since I moved in fitness center can only be used when the office is open for business. it was advertised as 24 hour operation. Run and don't rent from JRK proprty.
It's a scam they take a deposit and application fee $453.00 before your approved for an apartment and then don't refund you If you don't meet the qualifications. Robbery this should be illegal
