I had Sunday brunch at The Leaning Pear at the recommendation of some locals. The food was good but not outstanding. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was good but the waffle was more like a flat pancake and the sauce was strange. I had the chilaquiles that was watery and was more like eating soup with a spoon. We were not impressed.

Our favourite place to eat when we visit Wimberley. The menu items are great and the daily specials are even better.

Really cool spot to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. Ambience was laid back, the location is excellent. I had the wood fired pizza and a couple of beers, a very happy man indeed. Hate to bring up a negative, but the establishment shut down at 3.00pm. For a lazy Sunday kinda guy, all I wanted to do was sit out in the sun after my pizza, drink a couple of more beers and admire the location. Bigger picture, this place is fantastic though, and just another reason to visit Wimberly.

Wonderful food and service! My husband loved the cuban...and I loved the crab cake! We split the lemon/blueberry dessert...it was delicious. Will visit again.
