I love their Corned-Beef Rueben sandwich, I'm in love with their tea (not for kids; will complain of flowery taste), and I love the atmosphere and settings of the place. Price is reasonable, and my family and I can't wait to go back to this restaurant again on our next planned roadtrip. Being the Asian family type of family we were and being accustomed to rice, we were taken by surprise on our first experience with American Cuisine. As for the desserts, it's not something to brag about, but they still deserve the 5 stars for... read more

It's ok. Really nothing to say I'll be back. Started off wrong when I took my 79 year old mom and no place close to park. Dropped her off at the door and parked quit far. Then leaving, the waiting area was full and had to have her sit on an unshaded bench while I hiked to get the car. Food was good but just not the " I'll return good".

Prices were great considering it's a touristy area. Food looked neat and edgy but was bland on the plate. No e presentation and location though.

The Tuna on Rye was amazing as well as your Poblano soup with smoked Gouda. The only thing you could do better is open another location in Houston. Great service and love the Tree house dining area.

The Leaning Pear never disappoints! The menu is not overwhelming but has a satisfying variety of seasonal flavors. Absolute BEST wedge salad anywhere (the dried figs MAKE the dish). Pizzas are baked in an authentic pizza oven, and have interesting and unexpected ingredients. The crab cake is delicious and enormous (definitely an entree serving). The mason jar cheesecake is served with fresh strawberries and a delightful balsamic reduction sauce - delicious. We make it a point to visit twice when we are in Wimberley.

They were very busy with a 20 to 30 minute wait, but everyone was very considerate. We were able to sit outside in the screened in porch area. We had good service, and our food was delicious. I had the Cobb Salad, and my husband enjoyed his Reuben Sandwich.
