Very irresponsible and bad management service. I've applied to ****** apartment managed by Greystar in November 2022 to move in January 2023 and got approved. Then in December they call me I cannot move in because all elevators were down for the entire January. They said they can cancel my application and refund me the application fee, security deposit and administrative fee. Greystar Property Management allowed a manager to wrongfully terminate my employment because I am a African ******** male. Despite having known of this wrongful termination due to the color of my skin *************** choice to do nothing. I have lived in my apartment for 6 years and never had an issue till this company took over. They raised my rent by $200, assigned parking costs all of a sudden that are not listed in my lease. They say the previous management lost all the paperwork stating my rent and that my Apt was lower in rent due to never being renovated. There are roaches, tons of noise and they refuse to talk to you when you go into the office. They don't answer emails. I was without heat for over a week in -10 degree weather. ******* was very rude, I called regarding my patio furniture due to receiving a notice that I needed to remove it. I asked her why and she stated it is not patio furniture. I have been here for a while now and all of a sudden she is trying to have me remove it. My experience with ************************* was fine but I am starting to totally regret my choice. When my friend and I moved into the place it was advised to ** by the front desk staff of ************************* not to pay the whole deposit and sign up for the security deposit alternative plan and it was mentioned to us that any move-out related fees were to be taken out of this amount and if any other fees were to be paid we would receive an email from them after our move out. If I could give zero stars, I would. Greystar hires the most unprofessional people. I just had an leasing manager go off on me when I was the victim of a small crime. Very aggressive, condescending and lying individuals. I mad very upset I just renewed my lease. DO NOT rent from any greystar company.
