Easily the most unprofessional property management company Ive dealt with. Took over my luxury gated community in December, and immediately left tenants without a reliable, consistent on-site manager, just a bunch of useless temps. No way to communicate with management or get needs met. Also has consciously reduced the security of the complex, by keeping entrance gate open, without addressing this with tenants. And now, 6 months later, we finally have an on-site manager, but all he manages to do is ignore the needs and wants... read more
Complaint about our apartment complex. We've had issues with our complex and nothing has really been done. We've taken it into our own hands our own money to fix our apartment. From the start We've complained about our shower head not being fix, what looks like mold our shower and our window area. We've cleaned multiple times it still comes back. This review is long overdue and I wish you could leave 0 stars. This place is absolutely disgusting, between the elevators always having pee, throw up, blood and even p*** in it. On top of the elevators always being dirty, one is always broken. If you even think about taking the stairs because the elevators don't work, then you have to worry about the homeless people who live in the stairs. PLEASE READ. We have read all the reviews, and were cautious, yet it happened to us tooA week before our move-in date. Moving from out of state. ***************** in place. Electricity account set up. Travel arrangements set. Moving truck in route. We receive a call after 4pm, on Thursday (we move in in a week, next Friday), notifying us that the unit wont be available for another 3 weeks after our original move-in date due to dry wall construction and water damage. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This apartment complex has the worst management staff I have ever dealt with (I've seen 3 different management changes in the 2 years I've lived here). The front security gates have been inoperable for well over a year, which has resulted in multiple shootings, with one pregnant women being killed. Greystar is absolutelty the worst management company ever! I have been trying for months to have them validate money that is alledgeding owed and haven't received anything from them. Not to mentioned *********************** has the worst customer service, ever he can only be reached via email and never by phone. They don't care about the tenants only money. Everything about Greystar is horrible.
The worst place to possibly live! Management is a nightmare! Cheap and poorly built. Dont let the exterior fool you. No security. Gates are always open or broke. Everything in your unit will be broke if not already. I've heard horror stories before, and I am a true believer in the disgust for Greystar. I rented a unit managed by Greystar, and all was well until COVID and mass layoffs. I fell behind on rent for 2 months but caught up before my lease ended. That same year, they had renewal offers for the same price, which I thought was a good idea. My experience as a tenant changed in the second year. I apologize if your move-out charges were not clearly explained to you. In looking at the file and reviewing your ledger, I see you had a security deposit alternative (Jetty) equating to $500. Upon move-out, there was damage (pet damage primarily) to the unit requiring carpet replacement, drywall repairs, patio blinds and baseboard. Additionally, the final month of utilities, which are billed in arrears, was also owed. Greystar made a claim on Jetty (the deposit alternative) for $500 of damages. I used to live in a Greystar managed building called *************** in ******, **. They never returned my deposit, took months to get maintenance to fix basic things, administrators are next to impossible to get a hold of, they dont respond to calls or emails in any sort of timely fashion, and they charged me for utilities over a year after I had moved out.
