I am staying at a Greystar property in N.Va (*************). I have been without my vehicle for over 30 days and I am in sales. My vehicle was broken into and the locking mechanism was broken and my airbag was taken on my vehicle. This is due to our the property's garage doors being missing for the second time in the two years I have lived at this property. So I have been living at Courtney Meadows in Jacksonville, FL for about 1 month or so. When I do reviews I try to be very objective. The units that have been refreshed with new kitchens and baths are quite lovely and it is a very convenient location. Here is the downside, I selected the first floor so I wouldn't have to go up three flights of stairs. For anyone looking at Courtney Meadows, I would seriously take this in consideration. Terminated lease due to unsafe and unhealthy living conditions many complaints in the 7 months and numerous calls to security on tenants above me Apt 2002 Gave my 30 day notice and move out no damages to Apt but no deposit returned as they falsely say I did a lease but out. Ashley Johnson,the property manager lacks all humanly care or concern for the residence. She is just here for a check. In September, I put a work order in and was told that there was nothing to worry about, that it was more than likely my garbage disposal causing gurgling noises in my sink. October, my kitchen was full of overflowing sewage! Yes literally sewage! Maintenance comes 3 hours later and attempts to fix it. They lied about and charged us for a carpet that was not new after a few months we notice lines and marks appearing "ps we never walked on the carpet with our shoes nor do we have animals. We were charged for insurance violations after we renewed our renter insurance based on information given to us by the property manager , another charged was for a molded bathroom and another which sealants were used to cover up cracks. I moved into the *** Apts managed by Greystar management in February of 2020. The couldt get people in due to the pandemic so they under priced the rental and issued 2 months free rent. In October I was offered another job and had to break the lease: even with eventually renting out the apt, Greystar issued punitive cost of 3 months rent ($2500/month) plus the remainder of the lease PLUS the so-called 2 free month rent - all amounting to $15,000USD. My husband and I were approved for an apartment and paid all the fees and deposit. Were then told we were denied and when I called they said it was a mistake and said we would need to reapply and pay fees again and it would be credited to our account. In regards to ************ in ***** **, a Greystar property.There are too many complaints to list here as my word limit is cut short but I will try simply because the service is that poor. 1. Our building is just two years old and already we've experienced several building and construction catastrophes including severe rain flooding to the ground level units which is now an ongoing occurrence met with very delayed action from GREYSTAR to rectify the issues for residents.
