A lovely care home I have visited the summer fate in the last few years, staff always go above and beyond and the management team are always happy to talk to anyone. I would highly recommend this home
A lovely care home went to the summer fate for a couple of years now the staff are always polite really good with the resident and the seniors are amazing and the the kitchen staff and all of the staff go above and beyond never fail even in urgent situations. And I would really recommend any loved one to go there.
My father was in there for 28 days assessment. Absolutely shocking place. Very much needed a deep clean throughout and lots of staff training required. Nobody seemed interested in helping anyone that needed assistance to get to the toilet. Sometimes having to wait over an hour. Definitely not the place to end your loved ones days
Do not send a loved one here was shocked to see the level of cleanliness which was appalling even though my mum cannot walk she was put on top floor in a room at the back lord knows what would happen if there was a fire, her bedding was absolutely disgusting , the floor looked like it hasn't been hoovered for weeks, had to run around to find a member of staff no one popped in to see if she was OK was told doctors on ly come once a month, outrageous! Definitely not worth a grand a week
My dad stayed there short term, he was chatty, funny, out going. Enjoyed people around him. He said he was happy there which I truly believe he was. I was able to have visits regularly and call as much. As I liked, I was called out on as my dad was unsettled. To my horror the lack of care was heart breaking. I put my concerns forward. Cleaned and made my dad comfortable. I then raised concerns the next morning. Spoke to my dad. Unfortunately he passed away that evening.
