If I could give this place lower then one Star, I would staff are awful you knock on the office door and you get ignored they don’t do their checks often Check lots of incident happened But thanks some of the nurses like Sophie, Claire, chidinma, Owen, Tracy, Ebimay, Ozioma, Tshephi, and some of the HCA Lauren, Jamie Kaf, Nikki and lots of the other HCA aw well
The staff told me to go and kill myself and set me up to fail twice and I ended up running away and tried taking my own life I broke my leg from 30ft and I’m safeguard from this horrible hospital and I should off being moved but there not moving me there trying to make me end my life again
I was sectioned & stayed at the lakes for the majority of June 2025. Once I started to co-operate with staff by taking my medication everything fell into place. I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. All the staff work their behinds off going above & beyond for their patients. Not everyone is going to have the same experience during a mental health crisis but my experience was a positive one & if ever I get to the stage of needing to be sectioned again in the future, I would hope that the Lakes in Colches... read more

I was here around 2010 ? Self harm and severe depression and anxiety. Going by these reviews I was lucky! Since then I’ve been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder? No great surprise! The best thing the lakes did for me was prescribed olanzapine? I’m still on it in 2024 saved my life 🤗 thank you
