The Crossroads Arts District is filled with exceptional restaurants and The Jacobson is just another addition to this lively area. The bar/restaurant features American comfort food fused with some new twists, for example, the house burger is topped with a short-rib marmalade, bone marrow butter and crispy onion straws. Moreover, the spot is open for lunch and dinner and also has a wonderful bar that serves hand-crafted cocktails. It is an amazing atmosphere waitress and all staff are very friendly, it was my first time there and the food was very good also and so were the cocktails!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for great food and awesome atmosphere!!
I really enjoy the menu and the food at the Jacobson. However, the managers are the downfall. They're not friendly, I would go as far as to say they are rude.
It was my first time, but it won't be my last! ;-) I could eat the salmon chowder for my entire meal and the salted butterscotch pudding is perfection!
First time there. I went for the restaurant week menu. Shrimp, then pork, then butterscotch pudding. Food - excellent. Atmosphere - excellent. Service - at the bar - excellent. Hostesses - excellent. My 7th restaurant in the Crossroads since the summer. Great!
Great atmosphere. Food was amazing. I had the fried chicken sandwich with butterscotch pudding!
My mum and I went there for KC restaurant week today! Being first timers we weren't sure what to expect. The staff were so accommodating and professional. The art work was very unique and the Food was delicious! Our server, Jessica, was very helpful and personable! Looking forward to going back
Amazing farm to table food and awesome drinks. One of my favorite spots in the Crossroads.
Once you find it, you'll be back. Little plates shareable a great way to sample the fares. Pocket Square cocktail a winner.
We came for an office luncheon with a limited menu. They undercooked every salmon and were very rude about correcting the issue. Was not impressed and will not come back.
