Our Uber driver almost couldn't find the place, but man are we glad he did! We had heard The Jacobson Burger was #1 in KC for two years, which surprised me with all the great burgers in this town. Well, I can see why now. That was the best burger I've ever experienced. Tender, full of flavor, not overpowered by the bun. The Chicken Paprakash was amazing, too. Be sure to ask for Jed - you'll be entertained and truly enjoy the atmosphere of dining in the old Truman haberdashery.

The evening began at the bar on a Saturday evening; a purposeful early arrival so I could sit for a bit and take in the ambiance. The Three Blind Mice brown beer from Mother's Brewing Company in Springfield, Missouri hit the spot. I was looking for a vegetarian dinner, and chose the lasagna. I'm very disappointed after my first and only experience with The Jacobson. It wasn't the food, which was good. It wasn't the drinks, which were fun. The waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, I left my designer shades on the table. The nice hostess I spoke to by phone within minutes described them to me and confirmed they would be waiting for me.
