About this business

The Crossroads Arts District is filled with exceptional restaurants and The Jacobson is just another addition to this lively area. The bar/restaurant features American comfort food fused with some new twists, for example, the house burger is topped with a short-rib marmalade, bone marrow butter and crispy onion straws. Moreover, the spot is open for lunch and dinner and also has a wonderful bar that serves hand-crafted cocktails. Loved the pick three sides as a meal! The handcrafted drinks were excellent. I really wanted to enjoy the GF trio dips but sadly there were no GF crackers or chips to serve with them. Other than that minor detail it was an enjoyable dinning experience. The menu was diverse enough to satisfy my vegetarian mom, my GF restrictions and my hamburger loving daughter.

Service was good. I am always happy to see a manager on the floor who is helping their employees without them asking. Big kudos on that part. Food was great! The shrimp and crab dip was phenomenal... I had the salmon which was an awesome cut and cooked well. However, the corn relish was either old or extremely over cooked. My husband had pork confit which he was so impressed with. We will be back!

Our server Michael was a gem. He went above and beyond to help me during a bout of nausea. Food was amazing but the service was phenomenal. Highly recommended. Thank you Michael!

First we were dismissed by the waiter from the time we sat down and when we asked another server if he could be our server he stated “ I have things to do and I’m about to get off” we then asked to speak to the manager to ask for another waiter he approached us very rude and made excuses of why we were treated the way we were. Then proceeded to tell us if we didn’t like it then we can just be ... read more

I had an excellent meal last night at The Jacobson. Service was tip top, too. Thank you for making the evening so pleasant for our group of five.

Our friend rented the private room in the back. The service, food and drinks were great! Perfect party!
