After 15 years of unexplained and at times, almost unbearable back pain,Tamra Richardson Colby took the time to think outside the box, and was able to find answers. I had been to dozens of doctors and no one showed the caring she did. We have since left Iowa, but would go back to her in a minute if I could.
If you ask a question and it is through email don't expect anything good to come of it especially if you are asking for an elective procedure while you are already having a major procedure. Apparently it is documented, so for your future knowledge NEVER ask in email form. Only ask in the physicians office so that it is NOT documented and just spoke to about. Therefore they can screw with their system and those that have counted on the physicians for over 15 years.

Shame on Urgent Care for out of state patients. Our infant required a visit to your Ankeny location when we were visiting family. Our insurance will not cover the visit simply because The Iowa Clinic refused to bill our insurance company as an Urgent Care visit. They only bill as an 'office' visit and claim they are not an Urgent Care facility, yet when it comes to marketing they are not shy about claiming to provide 'Urgent Care'. I would like to file a formal complaint with the State of Iowa, but don't know where to start.
