Dan, The House Scout, was very thorough and efficient with his inspection, and prompt with his detailed report supported by numerous photos. With my hectic life, I appreciated that Dan uses current technology to allow clients to make on-line appointments, submit signed agreements, and confirm the appointment. Moving long distance and had to hire a home inspector. Dan was prompt, professional and provided valuable information.
Dan arrived to his appointment location 15 minutes early. And was already on the roof reviewing, as we drove up.
Dan conducted a very detailed inspection of the house my husband and I were buying. His report was very easy to read, even for someone who knows nothing about construction. The old saying that a picture is worth 1,000 words is definitely true regarding his reports. I would recommend him to anyone no matter how much they may or may not know about the construction of a house.

We contacted Dan for a home inspection for a vacation home we are buying, so we had to coordinate out-of-state travel. Dan was tremendously easy to work with, excellent in communicating, and did a great job on the inspection. He spent almost 2 hours going over every inch of this house, and then gave us a detailed oral explanation of everything he found, and showed us. He sent his final report to our email before we had made it home the next day. I'd highly recommend Dan to anyone who needs home inspection services.
Excellent work. Very detailed and documented with pictures. We were able to negotiate very satisfactory resolution to repairs on older home due to Dan's help. I would highly recommend.
