This practice is exceptional. I have found the receptionists to be helpful and have always managed to get an appointment quickly; often on the day I called. The medical staff are very approachable, always going the extra mile to sort out any problems. I feel very lucky to have found this surgery (but I do wish the carpark was bigger!)
Sadly this practice has gone downhill. My partner has given up on them completely despite having had quite a serious heart complaint. The chemist actually made contact to see why he’d stopped taking his blood pressure medication, but not a sausage from the practice. They have cancelled two of my appointments recently, both at short notice (same day) due to staff sickness. Great service
I have received excellent treatment with the doctors at Horndean Surgery.
Absolutely awful surgery with receptionist that shouldn’t be working with people in need. Don’t like be questioned and think they are doctors. My brother is in a care home that uses this practise and the so called ward rounds are done over the phone for someone very unwell it’s unbelievably bad. So much so that I have moved him to another practice avoid at all cost. 🤬🤬
