By not refusing to refund my money when YOU ship my purchase to the wrong address about a thousand miles from my home!!!
We ordered a new appliance suite in November and our appliances still aren’t delivered. They are telling us we the earliest we will get them is January 24th ( 10 weeks after we have ordered them). Apparently our appliances are on back order from GE. I understand Home Depot can’t do anything about GE and their backlog, but you’d think Home Depot would try and make it right by offering some kind of gift card or store credit. Had a hard time yesterday (Monday) to get help put 5 bags (2 salt softener and 3 steer manures) into my car. I finally did it myself. Days, before I was at that store; when a nice young man help me; can’t remember his name.......
I was asking for my veterans discount and showed my VA card and the manager said my VA card was not good unless it says service connected. What? Only Veterans have VA cards. she belittled me by saying I will let it slide this time. had to school her a bit. Plus you can’t get the discount if you order online. I told her you need to do what Lowe’s does with the vet verify program. Now I can shop Lowe’s in store and online and get my discount by just giving my phone number.
Just got done picking up some last minute supplies to get our house ready for sale..........had a bit of a frustrating moment when I couldn't find the tape and as I was venting my frustration the district manager happened to be close by doing his own shopping and overheard me.........he immediately dropped what he was doing to help me find my stupid tape. ........my faith in Home Depot has been restored smile emoticon I didn't catch his name, but I want to say thank you if you see this.........Sincerely- a customer for life
