Ok, your online for same day store pickup service is a complete joke! We put in an order more than 5 hours ago and I just called the store - we’re now #12 on some list. This means it won’t be ready by closing! How is that a good service? What a sham! The West Madison store is inefficient and worthless.
The worst Home Depot we’ve ever been to. The young lady helping us at the paint center was unprofessional, rude, and clearly didn’t want to be there. While waiting a very long time for carpet, my fiancé walked up to a worker to ask if he could quickly step away to push a button to rotate carpets so we could look at one. He responded by calling my fiancé rude, then proceeded to talk badly about him with a customer. They made faces behind his back to other workers. Their stuff is okay but their employees disrespect our LGTBQ family and behavior is not stopped by management. They get “super duper” negative stars.
I stopped by your store today to quickly pick up some things for my garden. The majority of staff and customers were without masks. There were no cart wipes. There was no hand sanitizer. There was no social distancing or traffic flow management. There didn’t seem to be any restrictions on capacity, because the place was mobbed. Another woman, also masked, asked me what was happening. I told her that the whole place was a hotbed of disease and that I was leaving. I left. I will not be back.
Went to buy washer & dryer and no one was in the department and home depot employees walked down the isle and never acknowledged me.
RecommendedI recommend Home Depot, but am disappointed that their staff are not making safety a priority. Many of the staff are not wearing face masks or gloves, and the store hasn't done much to allow for 6 feet between customers in aisles and around other parts of the store. The curbside pickup is good option...
I quite understand the issues with adapting to Covid19 but when I do an online order for pick up in East Madison and it says it'll be ready that day, it's ready that day. At West Madison, the person on the phone said orders take 3 or 4 days because they are so busy. Fine. East is busy too but they get it done. Don't over promise on your dang website when you know full well you can't do it. Either set appropriate expectations via the website or go get the folks at East to tell you how to get the job done.
Been on hold for almost 45 mins now after someine hung up on me... Super cool.
