I was told I had to pay a $1000 restocking fee to cancel my order after it was delayed (and past the time I needed) due to covid shipping delays.

I had to go into the store to place a special order for my vinyl tile. I placed my order on 2/10 and had not received any news about my order, so on 2/20 I called the store and the associate literally said Hmmm... I don't know where your order is. it shows it shipped. Well we should have it by the first of the week. So today, 2/26, I call and the associate says we have it here. REALLY!!!! No call, No text, No email. NOT GOOD SERVICE!!! Home Depot could replace the defective storm door that they sold me, for free, instead of charging me to replace it. OR they could remove it, frame and all, refund my purchase price, and the delivery fee I paid to have the (defective) door delivered. OR Customer Service could call me back.
