We live an hour away. To pick up a nearly $400 screw up of shipping, Home Depot would not come and pick up without a service charge. This item is a large Monument Grill that had to be unpacked to inspect shipment and assemble. All together a horrible experience with Monument Grill, Home Depot online, Home Depot customer service, and the Topeka store.
Had a patio door installed couple yrs.ago..Had installer out there twice ..Called a third time ..They never showed..WOULD NEVER HAVE HOME DEPOT DO WORK FOR ME AGAIN
So fustrated bought a lawn mower for a grand from them and nothing but problem after problem lie after lie after lie. They said they would be here today no tomorow no wemsday if I'm lucky why would anyone want to spend money. They even expect you to fix your equipment you buy from them. In less than a week after buying it they asked me to come get a jack to try and fix the rider I bought a week afterwards. Have had more employees in the way so you can't get to thing, then when you need help finding something they can't even ask if you need help or move so you can find it yourself.
I'm very upset, my mother also father, invested over $5000 on a fence that's falling apart... it's only been several months... we've called several times about the fence... I'm disappointed in the service... no call backs no one has showed up to correct the issue.. I feel like your taking advantage of the elderly.
Bought a Christmas Tree from you on December 18th. Couldn't get anyone to help us at all. No one offered to cut the bottom off so it would soak up water like other places do. Driest tree I have ever seen. Left so many needles on the floor it ruined my vacuum cleaner. You owe me a new vacuum cleaner!
Showed up for an 8:00 appointment with receiving, didn't leave empty till 17:00.
The Home Depot Topeka store has predominately friendly, helpful employees. This is one place I don't mind shopping when I'm not sure what I need. On top of that, they are very pet friendly. Menards is not!
