They delivered a broken dryer and will not take it back and switch it. I called today to figure out something since it came broke the manager said no when I asked him his name be hung up on me. I can’t believe a 600$ purchase they don’t want to make things right.

I placed an order of cinder block and cap block to be delivered. I placed the order almost a week before the delivery date. The delivery was to set mobile offices up for a shutdown at a power plant, so schedule was top priority. The delivery day came and went and nothing. Four days later I was told the delivery would not happen until a day later than it was needed. I called Lowes and they are delivering in 2 hours same day. HD lost an almost $1000 order and any future business of mine.

They sell you a gift card then say you can’t buy certain things in the store with the gift card
Went in home dept to get some lumber & they were 6x6 posts 10 ft long. They had to go bring some in from outside, & do you think they stuck around to help?! Nope, walked right off when they were done. & when we were walking out, the lady at the door, didnt even ask if we found what we were looking for. I went to her before & asked her to send someone back to the lumber dept. I know she saw us, cause we she never left the aisle we were in. Wow, what a crappy job of customer service! If you need activation slips when purchasing multiple gift cards, they have to be rung up as separate transactions. No one seems to be aware of this. I had a very negative interaction with Asst. Manager Lesley at the Topeka KS Home Depot while trying to reverse the transaction. She slammed things around while trying to resolve their problem. Such unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I was shocked but I kept my frustration in check. Perhaps she could benefit from additional training. Other than this it’s a nice store.
