Given the pressures on GPs, I have always felt listened to, extra time has been given, not fobbed off with unnecessary medication, tests and hospital services have been rapidly requested when doctors have seen the need. It's a business, but there's also a commitment to do no harm. I like the receptionists . They do a difficult job. The asthma nurse, Emma, is excellent - expertise and dedication. HP was once very good, but over the years has gone downhill. Like another reviewer I had a significant health condition but one test was clear and I was asked “why are you back, your results were fine”. Well i didn’t have condition “A”, but I did have condition “B”. That took two more years and a different doctor to diagnose. The symptoms were all there, just ignored. Brilliant service by Dr Batchelor.Had an appointment at 4.30pm today with the nurse regarding problems with my scalp following surgery at Poole Hospital yesterday.She asked Dr Batchelor for her opinion and straight away she said”hospital”. She took control and phoned the maxiofacial department immediately and said an appointment had been arranged if I could go there now.
