My wife and I spent a week in D.C. The intention was to try a new place for every meal or drink. We made an exception for the Hamilton. One of the main reasons was our bartender Sean. Made us some of the best drinks we've had, made us feel at home, and took care of us better than anyone in the city. We were a tired band of lost souls, filled with despair that we could no longer see the statue of Hamilton in front of the Treasury, but alas The Hamilton rescued our pilgrimage! The food was great, the atmosphere electric, and The Hamilton Burger simply worthy of an American King.
I was really looking forward to experiencing the eclectic menu. I ended up not being terribly hunger, but could eat lighter by enjoying the excellent spring vegetable salad and a few pieces of sushi. Great service--attentive but not pushy.
I had the rib-eye, my man had sushi...both delicious. It was reasonably priced for the quality of food and experience. Regardless of if you have room, have dessert because it is incredible!
Love this restaurant from the ambiance, food and servers! District wings and crabcake sandwiches were tastey!
The environment was beautiful, service was good, drinks awesome. We were only disappointed that we couldn't order from the full menu on a Saturday at lunch. There was brunch and limited sandwiches only. My pulled pork was dynamic -- just ok. Can't wait to try it on a regular evening.

Dinner took over 2hrs. Finished aps before waitress took dinner order. Wife ordered porkchop. Dry but edible i ordered duck. It was like leather. Sent it back ,waited 45m for another it was no better. Bottom line with all the dc choices. Save your money and try another place
