The Loft is such a cool place to hang!! Love the energy, environment, AWESOME band selections, staff, sound, decor!! Plus -- their coffee is the best we've had at a venue, bar, restaurant!! :)

I can't give advice about the food as I just go for the music, but as a music venue it is great. Small, intimate and great acoustics. When some of the tables are cleared away to create a dance floor, as they were for Chucket Prophet and The Mission Express and The Bottle Rockets on Tuesday night, it becomes my favourite music venue in DC.
I had the best meal at the Hamilton during my stay in Washington DC. The food was fresh, the setting was great and the service was timely.
Good value for the neighborhood, really good food, friendly service, and good late night bar
It was nice, but I wasn't blown away by anything. The scallops, which were recommended by our waiter were overlooked. My son's ragu was too spicy. The Brussels sprout salad the guy next to us raved about was inedible in my opinion as the vinegarette was bitter and too tart. The desserts were the best.
Lovely place! Would definitely recommend to anyone!
