From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. Recommended2 hour wait when they told us it was going to be 1hr 20 min. But at the end of the day it was all worth it. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Very nice experience worth what u pay for the food cuz the site seeming was beautiful. I enjoyed the food got very full it was very good. Nice place to impress a date.
My husband and I shared a glorious wedding anniversary breakfast this past weekend at Guenther House. The service is impeccable and the strawberry sweet cream waffles...Oh My Gosh!!!!! I cannot wait 'till we are able to travel back to San Antonio. Guenther House will be our first stop.
