The Guenther House makes its home in an elegant historic mansion on the property of Pioneer Flour Mills in the historic King William area. From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

We always have such a wonderful time. The food is so delicious. love the environment and the scenery. cant forget the free coffee while you wait to get a table.
It was a beautiful and unique place to have lunch. Fabulous menu. The food was out of this world. This house was build by a gentleman who came over from Germany. The house is kept the way it’s always been except for a few changes here and there. You can tour in this house before or after you eat. It was all together Amazing!!
Little bit of a wait, but totally worth the wait.
Great Christmas fun and food

I would definitely suggest the spinach and mushroom quiche, really good. Wow they have great pastries here to. Buy early, or they will be sold out as was the case with the cinnamon rolls.

We then stood there waiting when we observed 3 plant managers walk over from Pioneer plant and they were immediately seated and given our table!!!!! The hostesses then informed us that we now had to wait for the next available table which took over 15 minutes . POOR customer service . The plant managers should ha... read more
