I have been attending as a professional for over 10 years at the Grove. It's nothing short of outstanding. Care staff very alert to the resident's needs, all residents present well and are well cared for, excellent level of communication and of course a very smiley person to greet us each time we attend! Highly recommended!
After a fall in her home and a short spell in hospital I found myself looking at care homes for my mum. I viewed several before The Grove but knew immediately when I entered that this was the one and a year on I still feel the same. I can 100% recommend ‘The Grove’. When we realised our dad had to go in a home we were devastated! We knew for his own safety and care that he needed to. Sharon and her staff guided dad and us through the settling in period with compassion and kindness. Dad has had his ups and downs plus his own frustrations at being in his situation, but he has now settled brilliantly. Even joining in with games and generally being sociable. I absolutely recommend The Grove if you are looking for a professional, caring, friendly, clean and beautiful home for your relative. They looked after my nan for 4 years to the end of her life and she couldn't have had a better team or place to enjoy her final years. my mother in-law was here for 4 wonderful years. she was disabled and they could have done more for her. everything she required she got they went the extra mile every time. It was clean well kept and the staff were amazing and so friendly nothing was too much even for us. Plenty of activities for the residents to do and many family days at the grove for everyone to enjoy. she couldn't have asked for a better place to live out here last few years. the dignity at the end was amazing too. they would sit with her and just chat ... read more
