Sitting outside on the patio next to the fountain was wonderful.
I had not been here in this lovely dinning spot in 41 years and it was even better than I remembered. Excellent food and service, a waiter who knew how to be exceptional!
We had a beautiful table on the patio and the weather was perfect. We had a lovely 2-1/2 hour brunch catching up with friends. Not a cheap outing, but definitely a wonderful special occasion.
Greenbriar is always a treat for atmosphere, wine list, delicious cuisine, and usually excellent service. Its menu, while traditional American fare, always includes interesting twists. This time, its portions, which are sensible, were overpriced.
This is a beautiful restaurant that has been there for over 40 years - with good reason, as it is still an excellent place to have a "dining experience". The food was great, particularly the Beef Wellington and the grilled octopus. Salads were really good also. The service is attentive, but expect a fairly slow, leisurely experience.

Great ambiance inside and beautiful gardens combined with a wonderful selection of food at their Sunday brunch.
This has always been a favorite for the best ambiance and fantastic brunch for any occasion. I would recommend the Greenbriar to anyone I know or meet that was looking for a great place to experience great food and atmosphere.
