About this business

Once a German restaurant, the Greenbriar revamped its menu and renovated its space and now dishes up fancy American fare in a spacious, bright setting. The restaurant, built in 1879 as a pioneer home and general store, offers views of wild flower filled meadows, and the landmark Flatirons (The) menu features fine dining favorites, including Beef Wellington and Glazed Roasted Duck, as well as curious entrees like the Seared Ostrich Filet. Pasta and vegetarian dishes are also offered. The Sunday brunch is very popular with the ... read more

We enjoyed the brunch very much and especially appreciated the variety of offerings, including vegetarian fare. We liked the option of unlimited sparkling apple cider, too. The logistics at the buffet could be improved by separating the made to order omelet bar and by having sufficient serving utensils. If you have mobility issues you should notify the restaurant since some...

Dinner was great during Denver restaurant week. Everything was perfect. Keanu was fantastic. Very attentive. Food was amazing, 3 courses for $30!

As every other restaurant in Colorado has moved to be trendy and unique, The Greenbriar has become the only truly unique restaurant in the area because it is the last great fine dining experience. Traditional (mostly) french cooking, formal waitstaff, and a beautiful setting.

Food and service was outstanding. Lovely spot at the base of the foothill. Great for a romantic dinner or a small group.

The Greenbriar Inn was fantastic for dinner. My wife and I had a fantastic bottle of wine recommended by our server, Devon. We started with a tabIe side Caesar salad, which was one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had. I had the Beef Wellington and my wife had the lamb, both dishes were cooked to perfection. We had great service and a wonderful experience here. This is not the kind of place for a quick dinner, but who would want dine like that at the Green Briar. Five Stars, we will definitely be back.

So nice to find a restaurant where there's a calm, un-rushed, care-full manner and great food. We has been there many years ago when we lived in Boulder and enjoyed it. We returned for Denver Restaurant Week to see what it is like in the present and it has only gotten better -- it that were possible. The food was creative, beautifully and carefully prepared and presented. The service was attentive without "hovering" and we felt totally relaxed and at ease -- no rush here. The wine list is excellent, with very good choices at... read more

Greenbriar Inn is one of the few truly fine-dining establishments in the Boulder area. And yet one can have a relaxed, informal dinner in the bar area (a separate room) or, weather permitting, out on the patio under magnificent old trees (great to do this just for a few small plates and wine). Having eaten here numerous times, we can honestly say that every dish is excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. The caesar salad, prepared table-side, is the best in town. Service is always friendly, professional and atten... read more

We were in town visiting some friends and they suggested we try this place for our Anniversary dinner. The waitstaff was great and very attentive. They made sure we had a great experience. A bit pricey but for an anniversary dinner, it was worth it. The food was delicious and their grounds are beautiful with a lot of flowers and green grounds. We sat on the patio so we were able to take in the scenery.

After wedding brunch buffet was delicious, the eggs Benedict was superb and the prime rib was excellent. The desserts to die for and the staff was very attentive. Wish I could have ordered from the menu though, I will be going back.
