Excel shut off our gas due to a possible gas leak. It was the 1st snow day in Denver and we had no heat nor hot water. After contacting a few companies who all insisted that they can come to give us an estimates but would charge service fees, we finally found The Gas Connection. They know exactly what need to be done quickly to get our heat back on. They also were able to give us an estimate over the phone. Marvin was my Service Technician. Extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Took time to explain workings of the fire place and the remote control. The Gas Connection had installed a high end free standing fireplace for us about 3 years ago and we have been extremely happy with the installation. We recently had some functionality problems with the unit so we called them for service. Doug. a service technician came and completely serviced the unit correcting the problems and installed a control making the unit more convenient to control. I give Doug excellent marks for being fast, efficient. and doing a clean job. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

The technician from The Gas Connection was Marvin F. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and diagnosed and solved my problem expeditiously. I thought the charge of $255 was excessive but the result of Marvin's work was totally satisfactory
