As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

We're pleased to hear you enjoyed some of our unique game offerings, Craig!
We had a wonderful dinner at The Fort on July 4th! The food was great and the service was the finest! They shot off the cannon four times while we were there, which was a treat!
Business response:
Thanks for celebrating the Fourth of July with us, Pam!

We were there on July 4th when they had a two man Gunnery team there to fire the Cannon to celebrate Independence Day. There were also roaming musicians including a 4 women group of singers, like the Andrews Sisters, a guitar and Violin Duet, and the Gunnery Captain and Lieutenant visited the tables between there Cannon Duties to a... read more

This resturant is situated just outside of Red Rock Park, on a ridge with amazing veiws. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We were made so welcome and made to feel valued as guest. The service was attentive and discreet. Now the food. What can I say, it was excellant. The meat was perfectly cooked with so much flavor. The blue chesse salad dressing was amazing. I loved the pumkin nut muffins that came with the appetizers, so imaginative. I was there with my family for my 62nd birthday and really enjoyed my complimenta... read more
