This may be better than Bent's Fort... because this place has outstanding food! The peeps are wonderful, the atmosphere, exhibits and views are great , and the history is evident every where. It is more than a restaurant... it's a destination!

Amazing flute player / story teller joined us on the patio when we came in for drinks and apps. He really set the mood.
Tonight my friend and I decided to try The Fort Restaurant for the first time tonight. She had the prime rib which was very good. And I had the Shrimp Vera Cruz which is a new item for the restaurant. It's so new the the restaurant has not had time the add this item to their brochure that is at the entrance when you walk. My shrimp had no flavor or taste. The description on the menu said roasted peppers,Anaheim chili and spices. But mine had no taste.
