As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

RecommendedThis place was amazing. My husband brought me here for my birthday and they make it so peaceful that you forget about everything but enjoying the atmosphere and the company your with. As for the food it was absolutely superb and to the upmost quality. Our server was so sweet and attentive.

Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, good choices of entrees, and it doesn't get much better than Huckleberry lemonade, huckleberry preserves with the steak and elk, and huckleberry drizzle on cheesecake! Tonight was my first time there and I would recommend it to anyone! Gluten free and vegan choices!
Great atmosphere for a special occasion
Variety of special game meats. Elk, Bison, Quail, Duck....and Rocky Mountain Oysters.
We had an amazing dinner. John was our server who made excellent recommendations for my husband and made every effort to accommodate my special dietary needs. Sky assisted John. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The service and atmosphere impeccable!! The General Manager came over several times to insure our positive experience as well.
