As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Very scenic and warm atmosphere. The service was great and when we strolled out on the patio, one of the servers was able to answer all our questions about the history of the area. The buffalo ribs were very tender. — with Srikanth Bonthu.

Our usual or frequent celebration for our anniversary, the Fourth of July. Being able to see dozens of fireworks displays from RedRocks area as far as you can see out to the Plains. It's great!!!
They treated our group of 13 folks very well . Good service, good food, and a fun menu. We all enjoyed it.
