Last year I was training for my first marathon. I began having severe knee pain just a few weeks before the race. A good friends suggested I go see Dr. Beau at The Farm. I am soooo glad I took her suggestion. With him being a runner, Dr. Beau quickly figured out what was causing my pain and gave me instructions and exercises to correct it. He also used several massage techniques along with acupuncture to get my muscles to loosen up. By the time it was race day, I had no pain! Each visit was very laid back and comfortable. I ... read more

Both Sloan and Beau are excellent doctors! They have helped our family work through concussions, torn calf muscles, hip issues, etc.... I can't say enough about them! Not only do they help with the issue at hand, but they look beyond and help you develop proper alignment and strength so the injury doesn't occur again which to me is very important!

Business response:

Happy to help the entire Fagan crew out!

I was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Sloan Beard of FARM. I felt very comfortable explaining my issues and I felt like I was heard. She treated my individual problems. Her exercises at home helped me heal. She truly seems to care about her patients. It is obvious she is well studied in her field. I would highly recommend her and the FARM office to family and friends.

Sloan and Beau have blessed our family in more ways that they know. Their passion to help others and find the best treatment for their patients is what sets them apart. As a parent with children involved in athletics, I can't imagine how we would of work through some of the aches and pains that we have encountered in our family. I know that they are making a difference in the lives of their patients everyday, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. Thanks, "The Colemans"

I met the DRs. Beard from the FARM at the Lake Martin ultra marathon in March of this year. I struggle with hip issues and tightness regularly. I had really good chiropractic care when I lived in DC, but had not had good luck finding anyone here. Dr. Beau has begun treating me. I know I have a long road ahead but I feel as though he will make the difference in my treatment. He and his wife Sloan made a huge difference in the race and the success of the runners. I feel like that same transformation is not a heavy lift for the... read more

The Farm is great! They really know their stuff. I can't recommend them enough, especially to athletes. It is so nice to have someone not look at you like you are crazy when you tell them you run ultras. They get athletes and are great at helping people reach their physical potential.

Dr. Sloan has been wonderful with my 12 yr old daughter, a gymnast, during her problems with Sever's disease and other issues caused by gymnastics. My daughter had done several physical therapy sessions during the course of three months, after which we didn't see a lot of improvement. It wasn't until we went to THE FARM that things started to improve for her. Based on the quality and care received by her there, I've also gone to see dr. Sloan, as well as my other daughter, who has scoliosis. And my husband is currently seein... read more

Sloan was great to work with. I went in for plantar fasciitis and not only did she treat that, but worked with me on total body mechanics to improve my breathing and posture. She is caring and very knowledgeable.

Having had a stress fracture, I was told to rethink my activities out on the pavement (stop running). I could not accept those terms. I was referred to Dr. Beau and I must say that I got my life back. He tended to my past injury and had me to test it. Another thing that I absolutely loved about the FARM is the fact that every ailment that I had was treated (back, wrist, weak ankles, etc.). I didn't have to complete 4 weeks of PT for one issue before the other issue was looked at. After only 5 or 6 visits and been given take ... read more
