I am trying to figure these folks out. My daughter clicked through the online application and then decided to live on campus - they are trying to ping her for a $200 transfer fee on a lease for which she cannot financially qualify - no job and no credit at 18 - duh! I am not going to guarantee the lease as I stated to them repeatedly. The response given by a manager was to check with my attorney and some fair housing act was cited as the reason they couldn't waive the transfer fee. I would just like to say that most of the good reviews are from people that work in the office. This is the worst place to live. Do not recommend. Look at google reviews if you want the truth!

The Commons is a great place to live because of it's prime location to campus at an affordable price. It is only a 15 minute walk to campus. Another thing I like about The Commons is the awesome community. It is easy to meet your neighbors and others if you attend The Commons events which usually include free food and giveaways!
I stayed at the commons for about a year and loved the staff, the apartment was nice, maintenance was always on schedule, and I made some of the best friends while there. I hurt my leg and one of the staff members helped me carry my groceries up the stairs! Very hospitable people there.
