One Star – Terrible Management and No Support for Staff I’ve had enough of Co-op Adel in Leeds. The upper management is absolutely terrible—they sit back and do nothing while the staff on the shop floor are left to fend for themselves. Shoplifting is a constant issue, and instead of putting in proper security measures or supporting their employees, the higher-ups just ignore it and let the team take the brunt of it. Get regular deliveries from here and they are utterly rubbish. Tonight I ordered 12 75cl bottles of water and was actually give ONE 1.5l bottle. ONE. How does one slightly larger bottle replace TWELVE slightly smaller ones? Two lots of chocolate and custard doughnuts were replaced by ONE squashed bag of crappy jam doughnuts. If I wanted jam I WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT. Choc chip cookies replaced by white chocolate cookies. The employees of this store should be ashamed of themselves and finally get to work. The ubiquitous mess and empty shelves. They do not replenish the missing goods, there is never any fresh bread. Totally ignorant. It was better before, but other people worked there. Now they are working lazy people who don't care about customers. Terrible store.
