My 2 month old son had skull surgery here on Monday with Dr. Proctor. Understandably, we were nervous wrecks. The staff at BCH was amazing. Each and every person we encountered made us feel so comfortable. The nurses that worked with my son were so loving and made the experience as painless as possible. They also helped me with tasks that are usually simple but made me nervous in a hospital setting-like changing a diaper on a baby that is hooked up to IVs. What this diabolical institution did to Justina Pelitier was nothing short of criminal. Medical kidnapping a young girl to cover up their incompetence. Eighteen months of her life and her ability to walk is I high price, and she may never recover. This place needs to be shut down. The doctors involved, and the hospital administrators that allowed this horrendous crime to continue should be put in jail where they belong.i wouldn't bring my dog, let alone my child to this hospital of horrors. God help that poor family.
They have the best staff from the doctors to the nurses. Even the people they have to entertain the children. They made my baby girl feel so comfortable with the smallest kind act this is truly the best hospital for kids i pray they continue thier good work.
We brought our daughter here for a second opinion from Tufts, and we've stuck with Boston Children's ever since! Our daughter is a Cardiac patient and Tufts was saying she would need serial surgeries well into adulthood if she even made it past birth, BUT Boston Children's (Dr. Mayer - Cardiac surgeon) fixed our daughters heart in one surgery!!! This is the best hospital for children. When my grandson was there the staff took great care of him. He was only 2years old and very scared but was able to have things from his room at home in his hospital room to make him more comfortable. Thanks for saving my grandson life.
My son had day sitgery today. The nurses and doctors that took care of him were fantastic, and made him feel very very comfortable and not nervous at all. He actually said to me today after being home from the hospital "mommy that hospital was fun" i cant thank our nurse staff and doctors enough.
