HERO'S . The motility gastroenterology department has proved that miracles happen! Dr.Alex Flores and Surgeon Dr.Terry Buchmiller gave me life back ! You both are my Hero!!! I couldn't thank you both enough as well as the rest of Children's for giving me the opportunity live my life again not just be alive . 7 long years with the doctors and nurses who have become family . I am thankful for every second spent in their care. I wouldn't be who I am today without you all .
My daughter hasn't had her first visit yet but unlike some more local hospitals in NYC and NJ and PA these doctors have put together a team and " want to help". A+ for scheduling , desire to help and not afraid of a challenging case. Looking forward to meeting everyone in a few weeks!
I found a huge lack of communication between team plans and nurses. When someone would coming my room , I would ask if they could find out what what is going on and no one would come back. Three nurses or CA told me they would be right back and we saw no one for an hour. At least come back and say they still don't know.
I'm from Miami Florida. I came to Boston to get answers for my sons condition. My family and I have been trying to find a diagnoses for my son for about a year and we would usually get the answer " we don't know". We been in Boston for one week and got so much help from everyone in Boston children's hospital, Dana-farber and even 333 longwood building.
